Osceola’s Alexis Irwin, a cross county and track standout the past three seasons, committed to the University of North Florida.
Irwin said she visited the school earlier this month and decided on UNF over Florida.
"I felt really comfortable there and felt it was the best place for me to succeed," Irwin said.
Last week, Irwin won her third straight individual title at the Pinellas County Athletic Conference meet. She also has helped the Warriors win district titles the past two seasons in track.
